We have some weed killer, I will check the ingred's.today before I buy anymore.

Think I need a weed killer for lawns, don't want to kill my grass!

Thanks all for your replies !

Barb, you need to rake or use a leaf blower on your lawn soon after they fall. Or if your mower has a bagger, use that.

Make sure you get a chemical that's safe for lawns. :)

I'll remember that for sure next year when I watch them fall ! Thanks !!!

Try painting 1/2 dozen leaves on each tree with Round Up. Be sure to wear rubber gloves, and paint both side of the leaf. I know this sounds tiresome but in a week or so those seedling will be dead down to the last root.

Also known as a judicious application of Roundup, as I suggested earlier. I put mine in a sprayer contraption - the sprayer apparatus has a teeny squirter part so that you can spray the stuff just where you want it to go without killing everything else nearby.

My son put some weed killer on today so we will have to wait and see if it works. Sure hope so ! Thanks all - I will let you know .
