Thanks everyone! This is something I won't soon forget! Now if we can maneuver through all the red-tape and fees and see if we actually can take possession of it, we might actually end up with it!

I thought about you two several times at the game last night, and as I was looking through the house. I know what you mean about yucky though. It was raining so bad as we were leaving last night that we could barely see. I don't know what North and South Carolina have against putting lights on the freeways! Even in the best weather, it can be hard to see your turn-offs!

Thanks Andy!

Here is the newspaper article about it (there is a picture of the outside of the house too--click "more photos."). newsobserver.com | Hurricanes fan scores a free house

Also, here are pictures from the event last night. I look so horrible, but I'm showing them to you anyway! Photo Gallery - St. Lawrence Homes Giveaway - 04/04/2008

Here is a story about the house, done in January. If you click on "see video" (I think that's what it says) to the right, you can see a tiny bit of the house. They focus too much on furniture to see much, but you can see a little of it, and there is a good shot of the outside. Carolina Hurricanes Giving Away Wake Forest Home :: WRAL.com

So, you gonna move from SC up to NC?
And I gotta ask, what's the tax nut on a $340,000 house???

Congrats! Being in Raleigh, it's kinda neat that someone on a
forum I hang out in won the house!

Unbelievable! How often do people actually win these things. Congrats to you and James Whether you keep it or not, it was a great thing to win a house.

OMG! I read your post before that you both won and had a double chance of winning but never thought you would get it.

I remember hoping that I would see a thread like this!

That is amazing! Congrats!!!!
