We just had a spate of hail go through. I was sitting here at the computer when I heard it start and it took me a second to figure out what it was. When I did I ran out to try and save my flower pots and tomatoes from getting hammered. Man oh man was it coming down! I got pelted! Marble sized hail, fortunately not for too long a time though. Now I could shovel my deck. LOL.

Only one little guy got a bit pounded. The others will be fine. (11 plants) I think I may still get some salsa out of them!

Isn't mother nature amazing, hail can be both neat to watch and very frightening at times. Hopefully your tomato plants will pull through their ordeal :)

Forget the plants, Alix!! How's your head? Marble sized hail isn't that big, but, when they are dropping out of the sky at that speed, they can really hurt you.

I'm glad you realized what the sound was and that you were able to minimize the damage. I know you've had some weather, but they didn't say anything about hail..... yet.
(been listening to CISN 103.9 on line for the past coupla days)
