Hi,
A while ago, I wrote about my DH being in the hospital with a very weak heart. He was not expected to live and I was planning on a very sad Christmas without him.
After 3 weeks in the hospital, getting weaker daily and dying before me, one cardiologist contacted a heart failure specialist at a different hospital and helped us get an appointment. He was released from the first hospital on Monday very early and saw the new doctor right after. He was admitted into the cardiac intensive care of the new hospital and with a whole new plan of meds and future procedures, we now have hope. I know it is iffy, but at least we have been given hope for the first time in over 2 years.
This may be a good Christmas, after all.:)

I'm glad you have something to give you hope. I will continue praying for your husband and you. Keep us informed.

Barbara

{{{{{{Essie}}}}}} That's encouraging news. Give your DH a little peck on the cheek from me (hey, I'm harmless, I'm just an elf!!!) :)

There's nothing like love from friends and prayers, lots and lots of prayers, which I know are coming your way. No matter what you believe, I know prayers work. I've been on the receiving end and I know. Wonderful news about your husband. There's always something to help in the world of medicine.

funny kinds of Magik tend to happen around this time of year! :))))
my Fingers are crossed for you both *HUGS*

Great news Essie!! My bestust of wishes to you and your hubby, never give up hope and faith, may he regain his health soon!!

Essie - I am so glad to hear this. Will continue to pray for you and your family - Keep the faith and faith will hold you strong -

Essie, my eldest sister had a stroke about 4 years ago and within a year recovered 80% of her speech and movements of her left hand through sheer willpower and physiotherapy. Today she is almost her old self again. I do believe in miracles. So best of luck to both of you and happy holidays!
