Almost all of our petrol stations are aligned with grocery stores, either as a direct relationship or as part of discount vouchers with your grocery docket. Coles has Shell, Gull, Peak and Mobil and some BP's are associated with IGA.
I don't like to do the shopping! I'll make the list according to the layout of the grocery store (TOPS) and DH does the rest. Our store has dairy/frozen last anyways so that isn't a problem. And DH takes a cooler during the hotter weather to keep the frozen and perishables.
