I'm so glad to see spring coming in. It was a rough one. When I told someone here that I'd left food overnight in my kitchen, I don't think anyone realized that my kitchen was literally colder than my fridge. We had a few days where, thank heaven, I remembered my years of living in North Dakota in a trailer in the military, and put 4 big pots of water on my stove and boiled them all day, and ran my shower on hot for 15 min out of every hour. It was darned cold and I just wanted to keep the water flowing. For about 3 months I really didn't need a fridge or freezer at all. Well, the fridge to keep food warm enough to keep it from freezing.
