I might be going back to work!

...and it is not catering or cakes!

I popped into a craft store (mostly quilting and knitting) beside the restaurant yesterday to pick up a crochet hook because I have lost the three in that size that I have and am in a crunch for a project I am working on. Side note: I found one of them this morning inside the last skein of yarn I was using.

Anyway, I got talking about crochet with the shop owner and she mentioned they were looking for a crochet instructor for September, 2 - 3 times a week. She wants me to put in a resume with pictures of some of my work. I am under a little more pressure to finish this project now, because I want to get some more intermediate projects done to show my style and capabilities.

I am on a disability pension but can earn a small amount each month without reporting it. I am actually thrilled about this. I have taught computer courses, cake decorating, office skills and cooking. I love passing my knowledge (crocheting since age 7) on to others. It will be adults and maybe a kids' class!

That sounds like just the ticket LB. Doing something you love to do and getting paid for it is the dream of everyone everywhere.

+1. What more fun could there be than to do something you enjoy and get paid for it! Good luck.
