A Pastry Chef/Instructor at the culinary school I attended just won $50 million on a local lottery. I couldn't be happier for him. He pretended to be really gruff but had a super kind heart inside. Any extra minute I had I was in his kitchen next door asking questions and bringing in things I had made at home for critique. I registered for pastry but because of my knee I was never able to attend. He left the school a couple of years later.
Yep! He quit is job at a little French bakery and was about to purchase a second hand car, according to the article. I really felt bad I couldn't study under him. Maybe now he will open up his own school and I can teach for him!
