I would like to place an Icon for DC on my desktop. I had one but a new computer was put on line last Friday. I right clicked on the DC's picture..the one with the chef..and that is what showed up..DUH..Another thing is my smilies won't show up..I didn't click on the " disable smilies" and I can't use the things above like increase font, color change etc.ThanksMarge

I am definitely the wrong person to talk about computer problems..I assume that the computer you are talking out is the one at work and not at home.

At least on my computer at home I get technical help. Why not ask one of the Site Administrators or someone who is proficient with computers.

Good luck

To add a shortcut to your desktop right click on your desktop in a blank spot. Click on New then click on shortcut - cut and paste this address into the space

http://www.discusscooking.com

then click next.

the shortcut will appear as New Internet Shortcut - if you click once on those words, then click again you can re-type Discuss Cooking.
