If you were a vegetable what vegetable would you be?

If you were a vegetable ...

... what vegetable would you be?

... and why would you be that vegetable

Artichoke: flower of a thistle, kind of prickly, takes getting used to, acquired taste, but ooohhhh so good when you learn how to approach it

I'd be a parsnip... probably because no one else would pick it, and parsnips are highly under valued.

I would have to be a potato - probably one of the really white ones (I don't go in the sun much!!) - cos I am reliable, not very fussy, takes a while for someone to notice me, plain and simple but when utilised, I can become whatever the imagination wants of me!!! Every home should have one!! ;-)
