I'd love to get it done and will eventually. I've been wearing glasses since the 4th grade. I'd love to just throw them & all the contact mumbo jumbo in the garbage!

LOL, yeah Middie I suggest that anybody who is seriously thinking about getting it done and has the money for it to go for it. It's worth every penny and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I went to Key Whitman, he's one of the best in Dallas. I heard Dr. Boothe was pretty good too.

Not to be terribly personal but what was your prescription before the surgery? I'm sitting at about 650 right now and they have told me I would still need some time of correction ... not worth the risk I guess to me.

I'm really happy it went well for you Sugar - Happy Seeing!

Hmm...to be honest I don't recall. I only knew my old contact prescription, which was -4.50 in one eye and -4.75 in the other. Plus I had a pretty bad astigmatism. But if they tell you they can't do much for you then I wouldn't waste the money.
