Today isHalloween. I don't know how to wish in Halloween, may be Happy Halloween to all.

We will celebrate Indian or Hindu version of Halloween on 8th November of this year(the date does not remain fixed, it is the previous night of Kaali Puja)

We call this festival 'Bhoot(ghosts or spirits) Chaturdashi'

Thanks, Tatt. That was fascinating. Buck and I have a ghost who roams an area of our first floor. We've seen it several times, as have one of our sons and one of our dogs.

After some investigation, we believe it to be the ghost of Mr. Harlan, who was the second and longest owner of our house, which was built in 1880. The first owner only lived here a couple of years.

Mr. Harlan died in the living room in the 1930s after becoming ill with a gall bladder condition. Medical attention/knowledge then was not what it is today.

At any rate, "Harlan" as we call him, moves rugs, turns lights on and off, opens doors and roams the area from the living room to the dining room through the front entry and hallway.

Wish we'd had the presence of mind to have a camera handy. Always a day late and a dollar short there.
