My sisters dad and stepmother and their extended families were evacuated from Orange, Texas.
They came down to stay with my sister.
They finally got news of their house.
When a niece and her boyfriend went to check, they said,
The houses all the way down the street, including the ones on each side of theirs were gone, 70' pine trees were thrown around like match sticks.
Their house? intact and standing:ohmy: !!
My sisters stepmom collects angels. Before they left, her daughter put angels in every window of the house.
Not only their house, but the daughter and the sons house which share the same property as them!
Isn't that amazing? Really makes you think:)

oops, the daughter doesn't live on the property, only the son. The daughter lives in some apartments. No news of theirs yet.

that's wonderful texas !! that reminds me of a woman i saw on the news this morning. she was evacuated from her home during rita. when she returned all she had left was a cross that belonged to her father before he died. things like this really amaze me.
