I'm going in 2 hours later today, wait until the crazies are off the road. Since the schools are closed, everyone is in their cars headed for the ski areas. Makes no sense, they can't get to work and school, but they can get to the mountains to ski.

well, it was a rough 24 hours, but I was warmed by a phone call from a friend in California and a sister in Florida. They both called to cry on my shoulder, didn't even know we were being so hard hit. But I was able to help by listening and I have broad shoulders. I'm feeling more than a little stir-crazy, though. Friday is my usual day off ... we have a group that meets for drinks and dinner and I felt a little cabin fever.
