Yeah, I remember the Sopwith Camel and Verdun, France but not Herbert Hoover...I think it's more a weird mind block I have for the timelines between Europe and the US.

Hoover was a brilliant engineer. He also served as presidnt of one of the Ivy League colleges. The Battle of Verdun was repeated in WWII only it was called the Battle of the Bulge. Same battlefield. Same results. We won the battle.
