I sure do miss Vegas, Z. Are there teeny tiny one-armed bandits in there? lol. Pretty pics! Thanks for sharing. :)

As a Las Vegas resident, I can tell you that EVERYONE should go to Vegas at least once in their lifetime. It is awesome and never ceases to amaze me. The "electricity" along the Strip is something terrific.
If you go there in the summer you need to be aware that the temps all summer are in the 100's. Vegas spent the past week and a half with temps at 112-114 and the nights are in the 90's. Rent a car or you will regret the walk up and down the Strip at those temps. We hand our car to the valet and for a buck you can get out right in front of the casino door.
The pics are great and thanks for sharing. If you want to see something that will blow your mind, you need to see the Bellagio's display at Christmas time in the conservatory. They spare no expense and it is always packed with people wanting to view this.

P.S. I leave Vegas in May for Michigan and don't return til October. I'm no dummy. Who needs that heat????

Thanks Z. Vegas is a great place to visit and I'm sure Paulie and I will make it there again sometime soon. We've made some pretty amazing memories there. I'd tell ya all about about them but ya know what they say... "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas". !!

You better get moving. I think you're late for your departure. :ROFLMAO:

Ahhhhhhhhhh, the Bellagio!
Z, we were just there a few weeks back (just 3 days) because my husband was invited to be in a poker tourney. Out of the many hundred there, he got to the final table & actually won some $. The two days he did that, I was out and about, and the shopping gods were smiling on me:ROFLMAO:
We'll be back in a few more, only this time with the kids.

Drama Queen: I absolutely LOVE walking from place to place in the desert sun! The turquoise sky is remarkable, and with the lack of smog, my lungs enjoy the vacation more than I do!

I thought you must have been due for another Vegas fix. Sorry you didn't have time to look me up. :( Maybe next time, huh?

Nope not late leaving Vegas. I've been in Michigan since May 22nd.

As for no smog in Vegas: From my house I can see the Strip - barely! The cloud of brown smog from the heavy traffic on the strip is not to be believed. Vegas has one of the highest smog ratings in the West according to the reports. Still an awesome place to visit or live.

odd, DQ! I've never seen Vegas with any sky other than gorgeous turquoise. Of course, when you're hanging out by the pool, with the cabana boy asking if you need another frosty beverage......how could Vegas be anything less than perfect?

The air quality in Vegas is not great, but it is a 'relative' scale. Visitors from California are used to seeing haze and smog in their daily lives. While the Vegas air is not clean, one cannot always SEE it. Occasionally, a brown cloud settles over the Strip but it's not all the time, and is still way better than many large urban areas.
