Looks like they are trying too hard to be innovative to me. I won't be trying that.

Fast food chains adding bagged chips into the meal item itself. Taco Bell started it.

CEO:"Snap snap...come up with something new or you're fired".

"Lets put bagged chips into the meal item itself." "That's new."

CEO: "I like your idea...Gibs...make it happen."

It has.

Wendy's just introduced a burger with fries added. It was bound to happen. Others are bound to follow.

Adding fries or onion rings to a burger isn't new. Carl's Jr. added onion rings onto their oval burger bun and burger pattie back in the 80's.

Apparently its quite hard to do.. The KFC franchises we tried both in Cali and here in MO are way off the quality we were used to.. Something (quality) got lost when the big company bought them..
