I've heard critics think this movie will be for Jack Black what The Truman Show was for Jim Carrey: the movie that shows he's a serious actor, not just a comedian. :)

Wow, I can't believe you found old shots of the original. That is too cool!!
Look at the old king kong and the new one. The technology is so different now :o)
