Looks like David Bowie has been busy since his death. How else can you account for so many rock legends dying this year, if not because Bowie is gathering what has to be the ultimate rock band in the afterlife? OK, I suppose old age and/or the physical ailments that complicate it can be to blame. :(

So sad that we can add Keith Emerson to the list of rock, pop, and other musical talents that have died this year. Loved Emerson, Lake and Palmer way back when. Still do. We make sure to take a few of their discs with us when we travel to OH or FL. Makes for fun driving on the road.

With Sir George Martin also dying this week, at least "The Afterlifes" will have a historic producer to work with.

RIP, Keith. Rock on!
