My niece works in the luxury boxes at Mellon Arena, where the Red Wings and Penguins played in Pittsburgh for the Stanley Cup championship. Sadly for us in Pittsburgh, Detroit won the cup here in Mellon Arena.

That night, my niece was working the suite belonging to the owners of the Red Wings. A local chocolatier had made this 3 foot(-ish) Stanley Cup replica out of delicious Sarris' Milk Chocolate. The owner couldn't lug it onto the plane so he told my niece she could have it! So we ate it last night. :pig: Here it is... before and after!

(That's my niece in the before and my Brother in Law in the after)
:D

Sorry you couldn't join us! I did wonder why they didn't find a Red Wings fan to gift it to, though. Oh well, their loss is our gain!
