I have several cousins in Cedar Rapids, a couple of aunts and uncles, and my mom too. Haven't heard a peep out of any of em so far. I think most are on the Northwest side, but mom is on the Southeast side in a new subdivision.
I don't think any of them are down by the river or near where it is flooding.

omg, that is horrible. it's one thing to hear of flooding, but, to SEE it is mind blowing. Now, they are evacuating Des Moines.
