The whole Morgan Freeman "deceased" thing has been going on for at least a month now. There was some sort of hoax to that effect generated on Facebook and, as with social networks, it seemed to take on a life of its own.

Clearly a case of someone having waaaaay too much time on their hands and far too few brain cells. Get a life folks and leave others alone. Sheesh!

Yes, this article refers to the Facebook page and there were some monstrous number of "likes" and "comments".

My question is, why can't and why hasn't Facebook removed the thread, tracked down the source and booted them off. That's what would happen if they tried it here on DC!
