I don't know what it is. That fern looks huge, but, it's just a Boston Fern...the bird was about as long as my thumb (and remember, I'm an "elf")

we had a nest of baby bluejays the first spring we were in this house...
Mama never returned, I think it got too loud on our side of the window....
