My Birthday present part 2

Well today was the day and what a day. Neil came and spent 3 1/2 hours with me preparing the dishes and talking cooking.

Here are some photos - I will post the recipes in the appropriate sections and if I can be really clever - post the links in this thread.

Salmon Wellington, Fish Stew and Cod Portugese
Seafood Stew
Strawberry Puff Pastry Dessert

The salmon Wellington - before cooking and after cooking.

The veloute for the fish stew and the salsa for the cod portugese. The completed cod portugese and fish stew on the table. There is also a picture of the puff pastry strawberry dessert.

Friends came over to help it up and it is just about all gone.

Hi Charlie

Look at the link below - the salmon is the second recipe.

Salmon Wellington, Fish Stew and Cod Portugese

It tasted really nice - both my boys liked it - in fact when eldest tasted, his face just went wow.

It was absolutely gorgeous - we had 9 to dinner and it virtually disappeared. Very smooth and creamy. My youngest was quiet excited as he helped make the pudding. A bit over eager with the puree, so wwe had add a little gelatine to the mousse to help it set.
