Thank you so much, Andy. Both for your well wishes and the story of your SO. I felt horrid all over yesterday after the "treatment" and not much better today. If fact I have had three mild sessions of vertigo since my last post. I am nauseous and have a huge neck related headache.

This doctor also recommended that after a week if I still get them that I am to do a modified version of these exercises at home. After hearing your SO's story and the way I felt after them yesterday, I may think twice.

Don't go by what happened to SO. She has a multitude of inner ear issues. Her problems with the BPV exercises may have been because she used them when the problem wasn't BPV but something else.

From your description of what the doctor did to you, I'm not surprised you are sore and have a neck related headache. Yikes!

I got curious about BPV, so I looked it up. Look what I found at DizzyFIX - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, to help you do those exercises:

I hope you don't mind if I about the hat, not your health.

That could have been a big help for us. Wish the Doc had mentioned it. I would have gladly spent the $150. to ensure she was on target with her exercises.

I sure hope you feel better after all that! I think you need to write a book about your medical adventures (or misadventures)!

Love you sweetie, and praying as always.

Babe, you always make me laugh....and more important, smile!

Barbara and Kades, DH is being wonderful in doing all my bending and lifting (well, at least for the 48 hour period ). They say the cure is worse than the illness and I am slowly starting to lose some of the ill effects from yesterday. I can't drive for at least another 24 hours, but that's okay. I am using the time to map out a shower cake order I have for next week and to catch up on some reading.
