I just found out .. i knew he was supposed to be home from Iraq
before Christmas .. but he said he was not 100% sure that he would
be able to make it here (VA) from KY ...
He is safe .. and he is hungry ... he can not wait
till the 18th to get home .. told me he wants some ribs ..
and some cold beers .. i think i can do that ...
and he is coming over for Christmas day ..
so this is going to have to be a blow out ..
I am so proud of him i can not put it into words ..
I have been the only stable male in his life ..
he is like a son to me ..
i am just giddy ..

What a great celebration! Thats wonderful! I'm sure its a Christmas wish that your family is very grateful to have come true!

I'm so happy for you "Q" and your nephew. Two of our sons served, one in Desert Storm, and we couldn't be more proud of our service people.

Give him a great big hug from me and an even bigger "Thank You."

Let the ribs and beer flow freely.

Big "hugs" to you for your loving heart.

oh .. the beer is going to flow .. also the scotch and a couple other
things .. thanks all .. my son (6) has been practicing saluting
all day ...

THAT IS AWESOME!! Give him a hug and a thank you from Texas too!! He deserves to be home with his family

Give him some extra hugs from Paul and I!

And thanks to you for taking care of him!!

L2Q, please pass along my thanks to your nephew for his service-I appreciate what he does to ensure and protect myself & my family, our way of life and the freedoms that we all enjoy, yet sometimes take for granted.

And it goes without saying, there is a beer & a shot waiting for him in Nebraska !!
