Need answer to this important question.

I hope someone can answer this question for me. I am helping my grandson buy his first car. Is there a site on the internet that will give me the gas miles per gallon on a particular make or model? I've googled this but still can't come up a comprehensive chart or answer. I hope one of you out there can. Thanks so much in advance.
