This is an old photo. I remember seeing it on the back page of Life magazine years ago, where there was always a funny/poignant/etc. photo as the last shot of the magazine.

Who remembers Life?

i used to love life magazine. i guess the extra large format for all of the pictures was too expensive to produce. i remember a lot of pictures of the kennedy's (and onasis's by the time i remember them).

I miss the old Life. I especially remember two early examples of photojournalism (before the term was invented) from it - one shot by Gordon Parks about life in the Rio favelas and a boy named Flavio, and another about two young heroin addicts in NYC.

I think Life was the first magazine-format publication I read as a kid after comic books.
