Tried as hard as I could not to get into this show, but DH and I watched the whole marathon this afternoon. :ermm:
Who do you like?
I like Aaron a whole lot.

I'm with you suz..I can't STAND Lisa and her squinty eyes. She just doesn't seem right for FN...

The way I look at it, either guy would be OK, but Aaron is my fave...

I'm annoyed with how she seems to talk down to people.
I know how to understand the "fancy" words she is using and I know what they are....
I don't need kindergarten lessons!!!
ZABAGLIONE.....
I'm about to kick my tv.

YAY!!! He won!!!!
I didn't give someone the kiss of death for once!!!!!!

Ok.. so Aaron won... I think he deserves it, I knew he was going to win it. But I don't think Lisa was that bad. She seems really sweet and may be a really nice person if one was to get to know her. (Sorry, I'm a Texan and tend to fend for my fellow Texanites!)

Nothing against Lisa personally, she just didn't make me feel comfy watching her... as far as her being from TX...my little bro and his wife are from Austin, so I'd never put a Texan down...

Yea, I don't think she would make a FN star just yet... maybe one day down the road. But I think Aaron has come a long way!

I just kinda felt like she was talking down to me ( the viewer)

Both Adam and Aaron I liked. Honestly , I thought Adam presented himself a little better, but im really curious to try those plantains :)

Yeah, and considering im a vegetarian, he must have done a great job to impress me :-p

Ill actually go out and buy some plantains tomorrow. We had a cuban restaurant around here that served them, but has recently gone out of business. So, i was looking for a new way to cook them up.

So, now with Hells Kitchen over, and now The next FN star complete, im looking foward to the Kitchen Disaster's new season, because Gordon Ramsay was in a restaurant 2 minutes from my house, and Im curious to see how he ripped them apart. The restaurant is still in business.

FN = Food Network pot clanger...
Does Kitchen Disaster startin the fall again?

I have to say that I am NOT impressed with the judges' choices, aside from
Big Bite Guy, of course.

They seem to pick cooking skills and knowledge over TV appeal.
Not the smartest move for a TELEVISION channel.

Heck, half of the time the hosts are eating in a diner, drive-in, dive or other
restaurant.... don't need cooking skills there, just gustatorial enthusiasm and...
TELEVISION APPEAL.

But no, they pick people who, in my opinion, are snoozers on the tube.
Aaron.... his TV presence is too.... fake for me. Nothing like his regular
personality, that I could see from the show.

Cooking can be learned... appeal is innate.
Wanna bet Aaron is a one season wonder, like everyone else, aside from Guy?

Yeah I think Guy for sure is the best choice so far...
But I never watched a season until yesterday.
What ever happened to the 2 guys that won the first season.... besides they put me to sleep but they made some good stuff.

hubby and I laid on our bed last night watching the finale.
he asked who I though would win.
I thought all of their promo's were really good, very surprised.
after thinking, I told him Aaron might just end up the winner, he agreed.
two seconds later he did.

I just love that he's done with his life what he has,
it sounds like he had it pretty rough and rose above it.
I love a Cinderella story!
