OK so who knits?

Just started to knit and I need to cast off my stitches because I am done. How do I do this? I am just knitting a dishwashing cloth. Can anyone help?

It's hard to describe.... I'll try but this website has good pics.
Lion Brand Yarn Company
Knit the 1st stitch like normal, knit the 2nd but leave it on the left needle...
take the 1st stitch you knit, slip the needle into it and slip it over the 2nd stitch, landing the 2nd one on the needle and keep going like that. You'll only have 1 stitch on the right needle at a time.
I'm sure I didn't explain that right.

I just started knitting too but if you go to YouTube.com you can find a lot of videos to finish off your project.

If you go to KnittingHelp.com | Learn How to Knit there are videos. These taught me. Just click on tab on top that says videos. It shows continental and english versions.

Thats a good one Stacy. I had a bunch of knitting links and lost all my favorites then couldn't remember them all!
Thanks for the reminder.

your welcome!! I love this one because the lady that made the videos is very slow and shows you over and over while explaining what she is doing.
