So sorry to see that. But on the bright side pain is a GOOD thing. It means the tissue is healthy and no dead nerves.

the burning question (forgive the pun) is have you started another batch of belgian strong golden ale?

you could come up with some interesting names for it.

belgian redfoot ale

belgian hotshoe beer

blister brew

strongfoot ale

my tootsies hurt belgian ale

Now think of one that has an Owl reference and it's on. All the beers (that I name) are named after owls since I call my homebrewery the Burrowing Owl Brewery
