Patrick Swayze Has Died

It was just announced that Patrick Swayze has just passed away. He was 57 and surprised doctors by living much longer than they had expected. I saw the Barbara Walters interview with him a few months ago and was so impressed with how he was handling it. James and I really loved him. Patrick Swayze dies at 57, his publicist reports -- latimes.com

He was given only a couple months at the beginning of 2008 Babe. They have been preparing for this day a long time and aggressively fighting the cancer, but as we all know, no amount of preparation really prepares us. He outlived the doctors' predictions by over a year, and he didn't take one minute of that time for granted, from what I saw on the Barbara Walters interview.
