Patrick Swayze has Pancreatic Cancer

Sad, but, looks like he is responding well to treatments. I fell in love with him watching Dirty Dancing and then Ghost just melted my heart

I hadn't heard about this. I hope that by catching it early they are able to do something. I have always loved Patrick Swayze. "Ghost" was fantastic, and when I watch "Dirty Dancing," I start to feel almost like I could dance!

And you can't forget Road House! Catching it early sometimes makes all the difference.

My dad had this and died from it!

Hopefully, they can keep it contained and shrink it to keep it from spreading.

Didn't he and Whoopi Goldberg do a few movies together?

I hope he beats it. He's a great actor. Definately easy on the eyes.
Sure loved him in Dirty Dancing and Roadhouse. Red Dawn wasn't too
bad either.

just googled him too after hearing this.
what girl didn't love his dirty dancing with baby?
I know I did.
I love all the music from that flick too, it brings back tears.
I wish him and his beautiful wife and long and happy healthy life ahead.

There was a documentary on how "Dirty Dancing" was filmed and Patrick Swayze talked about how much hard work it was but also that they did have a great time on the set. I liked him offscreen as much as I liked him onscreen. "Ghost" has to be one of my favorite "escape" movies. I am wishing him all the best with his current battle. I'm hoping against the odds that he beats it.
