It is sad. I remember going to bed after hearing about the accident and thinking, we'll find out in the morning that she's okay. But she wasn't. She had just starting really becoming her own woman, and of course, I felt bad for her sons.

I remember the day. I felt dumbstruck and I couldn't figure out why. As I discovered later her major work in charity was and will be missed.

It was early Sat evening and I was at Tower Records in West Hollywood buying some opera CD's when I initially heard about the crash.
Not only was she such a lovely, caring lady, she did so much charity work as you pointed out Greg...such a lovely soul and I for one was devastated when she died as I followed her and what she did and just thought very highly of the lovely princess

Hard to believe it's been that long ago. I still remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when the news hit. It was devastating - Diana was such a gracious and lovely lady and I have no doubt she would have gone so far with her charities.
