Problem with viewing thread

Why is it, when I click on a thread, it opens at the bottom of the first page instead of the top of the page where the original post is?

Thanks Andy, I thought it was just a setting that may have gotten changed.

I was wondering too, Stacy. I thought maybe my laptop was acting up because it coincided with my backspace and scroll keys not always working on every page here.
