Ricardo Montalban, 88, has passed

It's sad so many of an era are passing, seems so often.
It makes me feel so old.
I wonder how many here never even were alive during
'Fantasy Island' days? 1978-1984

I always enjoyed his movies and, of course, Fantasy Island. Amazingly, for actors/performers, he and his wife were married for 63 years. I'll miss seeing him do new things. Didn't matter to me. All he had to do was recite the alphabet with that fabulous accent of his.

Ooh I loved Fantasy Island. I was young, so I don't recall many of the episodes, but I do remember watching and enjoying the mystery of the island.

I loved Ricardo Montalban. He definitely had a very rich, distinctive voice. I remember Johnny Carson loved to imitate him saying, "Rich Corinthian leather!"
