I'm sitting here, feeling some pain for those of you who are not feeling well and those who are going through struggles and hard times (((((hugs sizz))))))). My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. One of my dear friends died from ovarian cancer last Thursday night. Her funeral is tomorrow morning and I can't be there because I've already had this trip planned to see my daughter. I'm sad to lose her...she was too young. And so sad for her husband who is also battling cancer and is suffering from losing his dear wife. Life is so hard sometimes.

But along with this sadness I feel, I am also happy and excited to see my daughter. I've made marmalady's hummingbird cake to take along. It is cooling in the kitchen, and I need to go put the frosting on!

This post is longer than I intended...sorry for rambling on.

Practice random acts of kindness.
