RIP Tom Petty

Sad news. Tom Petty was one guy I always wanted to see, but never had an opportunity.

He is one of my all time favourites. I know it doesn't look good, but I am still rooting for you, Tom!

This is so sad. Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers has been a fave band of mine for decades. It doesn't look good. He's Free Fallin', and Learning to Fly...Into the Great Wide Open. I will always love his music.

One of my favorite songs...

He's off with George and Roy. RIP Tom, thanks for the music.

Big Loss. I loved Tom Petty and his Heartbreaker band. I was thinking about a song last night that would fit this terrible news.
Video shot in the 70's at the Filmore West. Great show. My wife gave me the DVD and my SIL gave me his book/biography. Those two items now have significant places in my heart.
My catalog with every album will get some wear.

Bon Jovi was one of the bands performing at the 9/11 concert for New York. They covered this Tom Petty song admirably.
