Savings in the Supermarket

A husband and wife are shopping when the man picks up a case of beer and puts it into the shopping cart.

"What do you think you're doing?" asks the wife.

"They're on sale, only $10 for 24 cans," he says.

"Put them back. We can't afford it," says the wife and they continue shopping.

A few aisles later the woman picks up a $20 jar of face cream and puts it into the cart.

"What do you think you're doing?" asks the man.

"It's my face cream. It makes me look beautiful," she says.

The man replies.... "SO DOES 24 CANS OF BEER AND IT'S HALF THE PRICE."

my daughter was attacked by an emu. long story.she really was.

she lives in back country in the high desert. was walking a horse through a rough place and out of the bushes came an emu. it attacked her and really cut open her arm, big time. she had to hike out to nearest home and they called 911. took lots of stitches. she still has some scars.

she said the smell was the worst thing. had feathers in her hair as well as on her arm. plus she did bleed a lot and it was a bit dicey for awhile.

we have no clue where it came from. probably escaped from someones ranch. scary business.
