We take in student borders and each one has their own quirks. The current one, no matter how much I tell him to rinse his dishes and either leave them in the sink or put them in the dishwasher, will rinse them (no soap) and put them in the dish rack....usually on top of legitimately clean dishes! I think the world of him, but this drives me crazy. And when DH cleans up he will get everything off the counter directly in front of the dishwasher and most of the time the sink, but never turns around to see the stuff on the stove and back counter.

I don't get angry, because at least they are trying, but when I have had bad pain days it can be a little frustrating.

This is so funny, partially because it came about after Thanksgiving. My guests asked if they could help clean up. Now you have to know, I do not own a dishwasher. So we ask our friends to scrape the plates, please don't leave any food for my little doggie, and just move on to the next room.
