Shooting at famous Gilroy Garlic Festival!

It was bound to happen sooner or later in America. Some nut job got a gun and shot up a food festival.

If yoou are not familiar with the Gilroy Garlic Festival, it is a pretty big deal. I've wanted to go. Glad I didn't go this year.

Oh no, not again! I haven't been to the festival, but my dad used to live south of there, so I passed by the area several times going from the SF airport to visit him. So sorry to hear this.

I have driven through Gilroy on my way to Monterey a dozen times. I like to open the car windows and smell the garlic.

Me, too. I don't know if we'll ever get out there again. It's hard to know what to say.

If I lived on the other coast, I would have been there. Its a tragedy than you cant just go out and have fun without thinking of all the craziness that can happen.

On a side note, I went to a crappy local garlic festival a few years back. I was hoping to hit a bigger and better one ( there's one upstate New York which I may attend in the fall). And then there's the mushroom festival. Hope I can get there this fall too.
