Just for the heck of it!

Lacey ~~ 24 y/o girl, the only one, college student
Tabor ~~ 22 y/o Army Specialist
Jeremiah ~~ 22 y/o Air Force ROTC
Noah ~~ 7 y/o will be in third grade and he loves soccer
Lukas ~~ 5 y/o startig kindergarten and he loves trucks

The two oldest, Lacey and Tabor were adopted by my eldest son, the third, Jeremiah, is his biological son. Noah belongs to my middle son and Lukas is my daughter's son. They are all ours! And they are all frowing up way too fast.

my grandkids are all grown adults, one is a dog groomer (starting a mobil dog grooming business.) her mom will be partner. my youngest granddaughter is in first year of college. my oldest grandson is an exray tech. the other grandson is a respiratory therapist.

not onto great grandkids. four girls, one born a couple days ago. she doesn't do much. one girl 20 months old. she does a lot more, mostly cut teeth. the three year old girl is almost four. she attends ballet, gym classes. just finished swimming lessons. oh yes she is in cheerleader school. a natural actress. she is doing well in preschool. i am very proud of them all.

These are my older sons kids...
Jacob just turned 19 and in college. Wants to be a clinical Psychologist
Sarah is 16 and will be a HS Junior. She's working as a lifeguard this summer, just like her grandma did at her age. :)

My younger son got married two years ago, so I'm hoping to get some new grands someday.

Thanks for the reponse. I love finding out about folk's grandkids...they are so much fun!

One, a one-year old, Selena, (yes, she's named after the late Tejana singer!). Started walking 3 days before her first birthday, last month. A complete superbaby (yah, I know).:mrgreen:

That's great Margaux! All their accomplishments become ours by association. Mine are ALL brilliant and geniuses!

My granddaughter was 11 when her mother married my son. I missed the "Little Princess" years.

Heck, I missed almost everything, my "kids" are all step-children, the youngest was 9 when I met DH. Never had kids of my own, but I still manage to spoil the heck out of the grandkids. I've been "Grandma" since I was 29.

Kadesma--do your girls do barrel racing? Or do they just like cowboys?
We just went to the PBR up in San Antonio weekend before last--those cowboys are soo cute. But I felt a little crest-fallen when I realized the cutest one of all was the same age as my older daughter!

Oh, Kades, I remember when Cade was turning 7 and Olivia was a baby. I can't believe they are growing up so fast. And I know you love each and every one as much as the next one and give them each their special "Ma" time.

Andrew--12 years old
Hannah--9 years old
Thomas--13 months--I finally get to meet him on the 18th of this month!

Oh Barbara, I am so happy for you! Any chance you can slip up a little further north while you are on the coast? ;) You can give Dad all those hugs in person.....and save a few for me too.

You're their "ma" and they love you. Being a "ma" is a special thing and I"m glad you are a part of it.

Laurie, I had Cade and Carson here yesterday and they went with me for my monthly check for kidneys. Poor Cade hates when they draw blood but he got through it this time without tears in his eyes. That he left to Caron who told the nurse don't you hurt my ma. he came over and put his head in my lap. If I had any doubt I don't now, love is the best from a grandchild.

It's true, they love me. They arranged, with their Father's help and blessing, a real church wedding for us...after we'd been married by law for 24 years. My middle son, a Preacher, married us, the eldest gave me away to his Dad and my daughter was my Matron of Honor. The Grandkids all had their places in the ceremony, too. It was lovely! And as spontaneous as our original civil ceremony was.

I really felt we were a family then.
