Our biggest festival 'Durga Puja' is ending today.

Devi Durga is considered as the good power or energy, who killed the evil 'Mahishasura'.

So 'Durga puja' is the festival of the victory of good over evil.

Today we greet everyone with saying 'Shubho Vijaya'.

So 'Shubho Vijaya' to all.

Shubho Vijaya to you too radhuni. How do you celebrate this festival? Are there certain foods associated with it?

'Shubho Vijaya' means 'wishing you happy victory,(the victory of good over evil)

We celebrate this festival by greeting each other and we touch our elder's feet for blessings.

The foods associated with it are different types of sweets especially 'rasogolla', 'narkel naru'(a sweet prepared from coconut) and a salty food called 'nimki'.
