Mudbug, there are roughly 24 posts per thread in the Off Topic Chat that you listed, and roughly 5 per thread in the Dessert section. However, you didn't offer the thread and post count for the other one so I can't do that math for you. Does that help?

Thanks, Alix. I'm a little surprised at how much action this thread has caused. I was just idly wondering and thought that surely there's someone out there (NOT you, ronjohn) who is into all this number/ratio/percentage stuff and had already figured it all out.

Remember what Mark Twain once said: "There are lies, ****ed lies, and then statisitics."

statistics are merely evidentiary perception, nothing more.

they are the ammo of manipulation.

I quit helping my son with math in the 4th grade - on the other hand I had to explain how to change a franction into a number with a decimal to my boss - but first had to explain what a numerator and denomitar was. She still didn't understand and said it was just too hard and would take too much time.

So, if your not good at math and you want to feel good about yourself hang around with my boss (sorry boss)

lol wasabi - I must admit that I had to make a phone call to see if I was remembering correctly. The hardest part was trying to explain what I was doing and why. I can do this math though - If you take a Lunesta (about an hour ago) how many minutes before you fall flat on your face? Well, I think the answer is in about 3 - so I'm off to bed.

Where to ask a question is no small matter.

Try asking your (thought-out) question here:

You might just get what you are asking for. And, for free!
