Special Easter Joy

Our daughter and grand daughter arrived on Easter Saturday. It was such a joy to have them here with us. DH has recovered enough to enjoy the visit.
G/D and I made Easter cards, decorated Easter eggs and made cakes, then went to the Park, while Grand Dad and Mummy enjoyed the beautiful sun in the garden.
I had got some little glasses and 2 little ceramic plant pot holders in the Charity Shop and we used those to put the eggs in. The ceramics were a present for our wonderful neighbours and G/D had great pleasure taking them round there on Easter Sunday

It's the first time in many many years that I didn't attend the Easter services at Church. This was however a very special time for all of us; giving thanks for Ian, and for our daughter and grand daughter. It was a time of healing and peace ( as daughter and I havn't always seen eye to eye) fun and shared love and God was there in the midst of it all.
I am so grateful for it all ( and so immensely tired now )
