Spring is in the Air

Or at least I hope so. My spring bulbs are poking their green spikes up, chives, salad burnett, and parsley are trying to come back to life.

What are you planning for your vegetable garden this year? I'm thinking two kinds of tomatoes, three kinds of peppers, and a cuke vine or two (preferably little pickling cucumbers, 'though I don't pickle them). Obviously a thriving herb garden. Much as I like things like eggplant and zuchini, many friends grow it and give it away, so it isn't worth the space. Oh, and I have a weird little spot where I have about 4" of soil on top of an old cistern, and that is my lettuce garden where I plant a bunch of mixed greens.
