St Andrew's Day

Scotland's patron Saint is St Andrew. It is celebrated on 30 November. It is also the start of the haggis hunting season.

Happy St. Andrews day to you Ishbel.
Will you be going hunting or just cooking up
what the hunters bring you?

I'm going to a St Andrew's Day dinner THIS evening (don't even ASK why it will be held a day early... think too few venues, too many groups!)

There will be the usual haggis, tatties and neeps, followed by Tipsy Laird or Cranachan, I suspect

Happy St. Andrews day Ishbel! The adventurous side of me still wants to try haggis but the conservative side is a little nervous about it & is wondering what in the world I'm thinking!

Thank you all, but it's not until tomorrow! I just wanted to give you all a chance to look at the Scotsman's spoof site re hunting the haggis!
