Hi Lefse, here's you my miniature ceramic butter dish that I just love. Beside it is a dinner fork for scale. It can be for individual butter portions. However, I find that people use very little butter in my home and therefore a small one like this suffices for the whole table. I always place a newly-sliced neat slab of butter inside for serving. It costs no more than $4 too.

I think they still sell this at the store I got it from. I'd offer to check for you but perhaps it's not practical as I'm halfway across the world.

I think that is kind of a neat one Chopstix. I think they would come in handy for large family dinners. Rather than passing one big butter dish all over the table, you could have a few of them on the table.
