having subscriptions, or cleaning them out, qs?

this could get truely philosophical.

I shut off subscriptions. The e-Mails were getting a bit much. I can find / check on the threads that I post in and it keeps e-Mails down.

I have close to 9,000 subscriptions right now. I never clear them out. If I did I would miss responses from time to time that I want to see. Since keeping them does not do anything harmful I keep them all for the most part.

I have mine set to no subscriptions. I get so many emails, that I don't need those added to it. I am here often enough that I generally don't have to worry about missing anything. I belong to a couple other message boards where I do have subscriptions because I don't go to them very often.
