Sue Grafton Author A-Y, no Z

Sue Grafton, mystery writer, shortens the alphabet and ends her long running "alphabet murders" with the letter Y. There will be no Z.

I have enjoyed her main character Kinsey Millhone since the beginning. I feel I almost know her. I see that dates back to 1982.

A friend brought that to my attention this evening. I loved the adventures of Kinsey Milhone! I made it as far as N; O came out after we moved from OH to MA and I never picked the series up once we had moved. I need to finish this series...starting, I'm afraid, from the beginning.

Whiska, as far as no Z? I'm thinking of it more as "Zzzzz" - the long sleep of death. See? Sue did finish the series. ?

Sad she's gone. I made it about ⅔ of the way through her alphabet. Her books were enjoyable and an easy read. It would have been a better ending if she'd done "Z".

I never read Ms. Grafton’s books, although I’ve been intending to start on them for years. Is there any chance that she had a manuscript for “Z is for…” that might be published posthumously?
